“The capacity to learn is a gift. The ability to learn is a gift. The willingness to learn is a choice.”—Brian Herbert

In a few months, exactly June of 2021, I will have reached my second year writing anniversary. Life had been hectic since I’ve started writing. It got even more intense when I decided to drop out of chemical engineering in late 2020. I figured I better pursue writing full-time instead of regretting not doing so when I’m 40-years old.

I’ve gone far in my writing journey—completed my first novel, published a lot of work, and got featured in many top publications—but I’m still very far from where I want to be. I’m on a mission to crush it in the writing industry, and I want to take you with me. Success tastes better when we all can celebrate.

You might be already a six or, heck, a seven-figure writer. You might be just starting your journey as a writer, coming out from a tiresome 9—5 job. Or you might be a creative artist who’s interested in learning more about writing.

Wherever you are in your journey, the learning process never stops. It takes a lot of work and knowledge to crush it writing online or offline. I want to learn everything there is to learn about the business of writing.

I figured to share what I learn with you, here, in The Essence.

I like not talking about myself. But I can write about myself, and other more significant stuff such as writing itself.
